By Zane Safrit to post 5 reasons why I blog.
Here goes:
1) It's cheap therapy. When I blog, I feel better. I get to write about things that are important to me and that makes me feel better. Yea, I'm being self-centered but it is MY blog... and it's dirt cheap therapy. Really.
2) I get to fantasize about running a large newspaper. I was a paper boy when I was 12 (sold the route) and when I was in my early 30's I had a gig selling newspaper advertising. When you blog you are the editor, publisher and circulation manager for everything you write. That's pretty cool, just like running a newspaper.
3) I get to talk about hobbies, interests and other ideas. Some are funny, some are insirational and others are just plain fun to write.
4) I view blogging as a social networking forum. When I hear about a good place to eat, I love to tell others. When I blog I get to do the same thing. I get to share the experience. It's fun.
5) I am meeting interesting people because of blogging. Just yesterday I had lunch with Sandy Renshaw. Sandy brought her friend, Brenda Friedrich and Zane Sarfit joined us too. We all had a great time togther, although I was having a bad day before we all met.
Are you beginning to see how this works?
Thanks for tagging me, Zane.
